I began my financial planning career in mid-2002. Prior to returning to the states in the Spring of 2002, I founded, owned, and operated a consulting business in Tokyo, Japan. Working with executive-level investment bankers from American and European investment firms, my contracts focused on finance, language, and general business education.

Going back to my upbringing in central Alaska, I have always been involved with education. My parents, both retired from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, worked hard to ensure that their four boys earned college degrees. My personal and professional endeavors very much revolve around education, whether consulting, teaching, or coaching. In my practice, I strive hard to help clients understand the what, why, and how regarding their financial plans.
